--Sharing our Saviour Yahushua the Messiah to the World!--

-Please Read this FIRST- On this site we prefer to use the actual Name of our loving Heavenly Father as it was written in the Word, and thus you will note that we will use the Four Letter “Memorial Name” of   - YHVH, which is pronounced as YaHVaH or YaHWaH. In addition we will also use our Heavenly Father’s attribute/title, which is Elohim rather than “God,” which sadly is the name of a pagan god. In addition we also love to use the actual and real Name of our beloved Messiah which is  - Yahushua for this is our Saviours original Hebrew Name as given to Him at birth in Lukas - Luke 1:31. This was the only Name ever used when He was on the earth by His family, disciples and His followers OVER THE centuries, even until today! However, it was changed to a foreign name by the founder of the new “pagan church of Rome.” Occasionally, we may also use other Hebrew or Greek names as well as different words in our studies for certain common words used are from pagan backgrounds and thus are not suitable. All names will be translated when they are FIRST used in a study or at various times as needed for clarity. There is a full explanation of YHVH’s blessed “Memorial Name” as well as the wonderful blessed Name of our Messiah and Saviour, thus please read … “The Memorial Name.”

“Master … Where do You Live?”

Yochanan - John Chapter 1 & Shemos - Exodus 40

1. Introduction and “the Lamb”

Yochanan – John Chapter One.

Vs 1- 5;         I call a Magnificent Revelation.

Vs 6 – 18;      I call a Marvellous Recollection.

Vs 19 – 28;    Shows us Day One of a particular Seven day period that would change the world.

In Vs 23 we hear the following statement …

“The Voice of him that cries in the wilderness: ‘Prepare you the way of YHVH and make straight in the dessert a highway for our Elohim.” Yeshayahu - Isaiah 40:3 & Yochanan - John 1:23.

This may be called day one of our Saviours Ministry having been Baptised or correctly translated “Immersed” in the original Hebrew Brit Chadashah, the New Covenant, by Yochanan the Immerser - John the Baptist.

Vs 29;            Speaks of Day Two – “The next day.”

Vs 35;            Speaks of Day Four – “The next Day.”

However in Chapter 2 Verse 1, we read the words “On the third day,” this actually means, three days after Day Four – thus ending with Day Seven. In these verses we have discovered the first seven days of our Saviour’s Ministry on earth!

We know that when Yahushua arrived at the Jordan River, Yochanan - John proclaimed loudly “Hinei Ha’Seh Elohim.” - “Behold the Lamb of Elohim.” And Yahushua entered the waters of full immersion and Yochanan - John testified as follows …

“I saw the Spirit (HaRuach) come down from heaven as a dove and it remained (or rested) on Him. I would not have known Him, except that the one who sent me to Immerse with water told me, 'The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is He who will Immerse with the Sanctified (Holy) Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh). I have seen and I testify that this is the Son of Elohim.” Yochanan - John 1:32-34.

In Chapter 1 Verses 35 and 36 we read that the next day Yahushua returned to the Jordan and that Yochanan – John the Immerser proclaimed for a second time – “Hinei Ha’Seh Elohim” - “Behold the Lamb of Elohim.” It was said twice; for this was what is called in the Scriptures a double witness, in addition it was a very special message as there were two very special men present, who would play an important role in Yahushua’s Ministry in the years ahead!

Beloved, did you realise that there are in fact two very different Hebrew and Greek words in the Scriptures for lamb?Hinei HaSeh” – “Hinei” means either “Here I am” or “Behold.” Whilst  HaSeh” is a very special word with an amazing meaning! Indeed, it does mean “the Lamb” but as I have said there are different words that mean lamb! For example in the Book of Yeshayahu - Isaiah it states …

“The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock.” Yeshayahu - Isaiah 65:25.

The Hebrew word used for “lamb” in Yeshayahu - Isaiah 65:25 is “taleh” and there are even other variations for other lambs. However, it is ONLY Sacrificial Lamb that are without spot and blemish that are called – “HaSeh” - “Ha” is “the” and “Seh” meaning “Sacrificial Lamb!” Thus Yochanan was making it very clear to all that stood round about “Behold the Sacrificial Lamb of YHVH Elohim.”

Two of Yochanan’s disciples that were present decided to follow Yahushua and they asked him …

“Rabbi (or Master), where do you live. And He (Yahushua) said come and see.” Yochanan - John 1: 38-39.

The truth is our blessed Messiah’s home is by far grander than any home that they would be dwelling in throughout the land, for the best description of a home for our Redeemer, as well as being a wonderful picture of the faithful in Him is the Tabernacle and the detail that can be found in how it was built and put together, for it is an intricate structure and it has so much to teach us.

In this study, I will only be touching a very small section of this amazing structure, but yet I believe that when I have concluded you will be richly blessed!

2. The Tabernacle

I stated that I would be sharing something about a small section of the Tabernacle. Well, that is not exactly true, for without the part that I will be sharing on, there could be no Tabernacle in the Wilderness, nor a House for Elohim to dwell in, for it was the most important or vital part of the whole structure! You may ask well, what was this part? Let, the Scriptures tell you!

“Make upright frames of acacia wood for the tabernacle. Each frame is to be ten cubits long and a cubit and a half wide.” Shemos - Exodus 26:16.

As you will have noted, I am speaking about the boards that made up the walls and the entrance of the Tabernacle and to make these three main walls it required 20 boards on each side and 8 boards behind the Holy of Holies, making a total of 48 boards. You may ask yourself, but what is so remarkable about these boards?

The truth is, what makes it all so incredibly remarkable is that all this timber for these 48 huge boards had to be gathered in a place that the Scriptures very clearly calls “the wilderness.” Thus the question is, how was it possible in the heart of the Sinai wilderness to find these huge, tall and majestic thick trees that would be large enough to make up one of these massive boards that measured 15 feet (4.57m) tall and 18 inches (45.7cm) wide and each of the four sides.

However, the next question we have to ask ourselves is this … “What kind of timber was used and was it big enough for these boards?” Well the answer is simple, for the Scripture gives us the answer and it tells us that it was the “acacia tree.

I have travelled throughout Israel and through the Sinai over the years and being somewhat of a botanist, I tend to spend time looking at gardens, farms, the blossoming wilderness, plants and trees everywhere I go. And as I travelled throughout the Sinai I was amazed how relatively small and twisted these acacia trees are. We need to understand the horrid conditions that exist in wilderness, for it can be extremely hot during the day, yet extremely to even freezing cold at night in winter both in the Sinai and in Israel, especially in Bethlehem and Jerusalem were it snows! On top of that, there is either not a breath of wind or the desserts come alive with storms that are extremely fierce and the trees bend over so far until they end up being so twisted and bended, that they are the ugliest twisted trees I have ever seen!

Yet YaHVaH Elohim, blessed be His Sanctified Name, said take this twisted tree and make beautiful looking boards from them for My Tabernacle!

The Boards:

Now, here comes the interesting part … The Hebrew for “boards” is “Kerashim” in verse15 it is written in the plural. Although there would be many boards made, but each board would be made out of many small pieces of compressed acacia wood, in other words it was going to be a sort of an early form of laminated or a pressed and glued timber, where many pieces of crooked acacia wood were worked into one single beautiful upright board to become part of a great Tabernacle!

Do these Boards remind you of something else?

The acacia wood in the wilderness sort of reminds me of everyone who has lived without YaHVaH and Yahushua THE Messiah and thus a life without salvation. For we the faithful in Messiah were just like that simple acacia tree once, and we were certainly not that attractive before we came to know our Saviour! But when we finally believed the Word of YaHVaH, and were washed clean by the shed Blood of Yahushua THE Messiah, He redeemed us and we were reshaped into a new person and we came into new lives in Him!

Let us look what happened next to these timber boards:

But even when these boards were completed and fully dried out, they still did not look that impressive. Yes, they were straight and upright, thus the perfect shape and size, but as each board was made up from many pieces of wood, the exteriors looked like a mess of different timber colours, from light to darker shades, depending on the age, or what part of the tree was showing. Therefore, we are told in the Word that these boards were fully covered in precious Gold, whilst at the bottom they were fitted with a pair of Sockets made of Silver, separating the earth, which represents sin from the Gold which represented the Majesty of YaHVaH Elohim.

The redeemed of Elohim, who were once like a simple acacia tree, are now like those great boards of the Tabernacle, covered in gold, standing on silver, the metal of redemption, all because our Yahushua our Saviour who shed His blood for the forgiveness of our sins!

There is so much more to the Tabernacle story and I suggest that you now go and study “The Tabernacle in the Wilderness” for in it you will discover so many treasures, far more than I have included in this short study, which is but an introduction!.

We are so blessed, for we have a Great Elohim who has given us so much, we are so blessed, thus go forth and go and share the love, mercy, and forgiveness with others, that our beloved Messiah touch them also. May the Spirit of YaHVaH Elohim touch and change them, that they may also receive the REWARD … FOR …

Great is your REWARD in HEAVEN!” Mattityahu - Matthew 5:12.

“Teach me Your way, O YHVH. I will walk in Your truth.
UNITE MY HEART TO FEAR YOUR NAME!”

Tehillim – Psalms 86:11

May YHVH Elohim bless and keep you in the palm of His hand, in Messiah Yahushua’s loving Name!

Yahushua said; “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the Prophets: They will all be taught by Elohim. Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from Him comes to Me. No one has seen the Father except the One who is from Elohim; only He has seen the Father. I tell you the truth he who believes has everlasting life.” Yochanan (John) 6:43-48.
