- YHVH, which is pronounced as YaHVaH
or YaHWaH. In addition we will also use our Heavenly Father’s
attribute/title, which is Elohim rather than “God,” which
sadly is the name of a pagan god. In addition we also love to use the actual
and real Name of our beloved Messiah which is 
- Yahushua or Yahshua in short, for
this is our Saviours original Hebrew Name as given to Him at birth in Lukas
- Luke 1:31. This was the only Name ever used when He was on the earth by His
family, disciples and His followers OVER THE centuries, even until today!
However, it was changed to a foreign name by the founder of the new
“pagan church of
Introduction:
Therefore we need to be aware Who is speaking
to us through the most blessed Scriptures from the very first book Bereshis
– Genesis right through to the concluding book of Revelation! Between
these two books there is great power and much instruction which is made up of
the Torah, being the Five Books of Moshe – Moses, the Nevi'im, being the major
prophets, the Ketuvim, being the Historical writings, Poetical books and
lesser prophets. Combined these are called the Tanach, which is a word made up
of all three parts of the writings, and it is known to the world at large as
the “Old Covenant.” This of course is followed what was at first
named the “Brit Chadashah” Hebrew for the “New Covenant.”
Many do not realise that at the time of Yahushua and most of the lives
of the Apostles, obviously there was no such a thing as the New Covenant for
the simple reason that it had not been completed as yet, therefore the only
Scriptures that were ever spoken about by Messiah and the Apostles throughout
the New Covenant was the Tanach, the Old Covenant!
In addition, it is vital to note that the Gospels were written in
Scriptural Hebrew and NOT in Greek, for they were later translated and this has
now been clearly proven, and you will find an article online that clearly
outlines this, as ancient rabbis had problems what to do with scrolls of the
Brit Chadashah that contained the Hebrew Memorial Name of YHVH that were
written by the Apostolic scribes and these rabbis did not know how to dispose
of them because they had the most Sanctified name in them and thus they were
presented with a huge problem! You can take it from me as one who was once an
orthodox Jew, who has come unto Yahushua back in 1977, for rabbis to even to
admit this took a great deal, thus it is no hoax and that is for sure! However
there are other decisive proofs of the Gospels and other books having been
written in Hebrew, for the point is this, the Apostles did not speak or write
Greek, for it was considered a sin to use a pagan language for the Word of
YaHVaH, EVENTHOUGH THE Word had to be spread throughout the world, and would
eventually be translated, the originals were in Hebrew and translations would
be made from them!
If Yahushua our beloved Messiah were to return to the earth today, would He recognize the Bible and the associated religion that is using the name of Jesus? No He would not, for the religion that uses a name that simply was never His Name, and a religion that is full of paganism (even though the majority in the church are not even aware of it), considering “christianity” upholds sun-god worship and pagan festivals, would horrify our beloved Master and Saviour!
Beloved, it is so tragic that man with a great deal of assistance from one particular *man, aided by Satan who was in Rome before the Apostles and he twisted the teachings of Messiah and the Apostles to the point that he commenced a new religion that had similarities to the one he had learned about from the Apostles, but it has practically no relationship to what our blessed Messiah and the Apostles actually believed or taught. Can you find a church that strives to live by the true teachings of our blessed Saviour as is written in the four Gospels? Can you prove for yourself what Elohim’s Truth really is? This work will give you a rather hard hitting, but the all-important answers to those important questions that are vital to your salvation!
And please remember beloved, that anything that is said here, or what is preached in any church MUST stand to the Test of the most Sacred Word of YaHVaH Elohim, Blessed be His Sanctified Name!
The first question you may ask is this … “How do I know that Jesus is not the true name of Christ?” Beloved that is very simple to answer for all we have to do is to look at another well-known person in the blessed Scriptures and that is Moshe’s – Moses’ successor was Yahushua or Joshua as we know him now. Thus, his and our Saviour’s Name are the same name!
We should look at how Joshua’s
name was written in the Greek in both the Septuagint, which is the Tanach, the
Old Covenant, which was translated by seventy Hebrew Scribes around the third
century B.C., into Greek, for we should be aware that there was a period of
time when Israel was under what could be called a Hellenic influence. In the
original Greek version “Joshua” as we know him now, was
written as follows “Giacousoua.” Greek is an
interesting language, and my ministry associate, as provided by Elohim back in
1983, is a Greek believer, thus it makes my life as a Hebrew much easier, in
other words, we have the best of two worlds in Messiah Yahushua, Praise Him!
It is interesting to note that there are eight
Greek letter combinations that are known as “diphthongs,”
one of these is ou - if a Greek font is not available
to you these are the letters “Omicron” and “Upilson”
and look much like (ov). However, they all end up sounding much like a single sound. The
three letters “Gia” are pronounced very much like the Dutch “Ja.”
Thus it sounds much like the blessed Name “YAH,” as in
HalleluYAH. Thus, knowing all the aforementioned we would write our Saviours
Name in the Greek as “Giahousua” when we transliterate it
correctly it will look like this “Jahousoua” and should be
pronounced as Yahushua.
“Joshua” of the Old Covenant” is named in the New Covenant three times, but the question begs how can the “christians possibly give him a completely new and different name to the original in the much later updated versions of the Septuagint and the New Covenant to “Iesous” considering that in the original rabbinic editions it had been “Giacousoua.” Yet, although he and Messiah having the very same name the “christians” call him *Joshua.
But now we come to the most beloved Name of
our beloved Saviour - “Yahushua”
that was originally written in Hebrew in the Gospels and as we will know from
the Greek tragically our Saviour’s Name was later written as “Iesous.”
But as I stated the original four Gospels were written in Hebrew, His, and he
who we now call - “Joshua,” were written as “Yahushua.” Thus, why did the
“christians” end up giving the person from the time of Moshe, 1.
A name that sounds so similar to the original - “Joshua”? It
has been the argument of theologians over the centuries that they “had to
call the Master by Another name because there was no ‘Y’ in
Greek” and thus it became – “Iesous” – “
The question begs; on the basis of Joshua, 2. Why then did “He who has the Name above every name” not also become known as “Jahoshua” or even “Joshua?”
But the truth goes back to a time of a great corruption in the setting up of the church in Rome for a new version of a Universal faith was being commenced by a *man by the name of Simon who had come from the Middle East to Rome, but we should ask the question here, “Was this man the Apostle Shim’on ben Yochanan – also called Simon Peter?” The answer is a clear and a decisive No!

has changed the name “Joshua” to “Jesus” whereas
in the vast majority of other versions have correct as “Joshua”
including in the “New King James Version.” But then, in days gone
by, there where those who thought that The KJV is the only Bible that had real
authority and was the only one that was 100% reliable! Well that is as far from
the truth as Mars is from the Earth, for it is well known that the KJV is in
fact one of the worst translations around, and the most erroneous of all,
with over 100,000 huge theological errors in it! What can you expect
from a translation ordered by this horrid king!
Thus, we have clearly established that the
Name of our Master and Saviour was never a Greek name, which is in truth of a
pagan origin, but He has a Hebrew Name as shown so clearly in Strongs and as is
confirmed by the Word, but now the church feels it is too late to change for it
has been taught in this name for far too long and it has become a
“tradition.” Others will claim that it is only a translation; well
I am sorry, the truth is you cannot translate a name and should never try to do
so! Of course we must translate words for we would never understand the blessed
Word if we did not, but a name is a name.

The truth friends is as follows; there are a
good number of religious scholars that recognize that far
to many changes have taken place within
christianity that has changed it to a different form of the faith than that of

The question we might ask, if the leaders during this time, which Hurlbut elsewhere called an “age of shadows” were filled with and led by Elohim’s Spirit, then why would the church suddenly be “very different”?
For the Word tells us, that our beloved Messiah is “the same yesterday, today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). Yet the christian church today is not even remotely the same, unlike the “Little Flock” that Yahushua our Messiah founded!
Describing the time period after all the original Apostles and their successors had died out, Hurlbut writes:
“The services of worship increased in splendour, but were less spiritual and hearty than those of former times. The forms and ceremonies of paganism gradually crept into the worship. Some of the old heathen feasts became church festivals with a change of name and of worship. About 405ad images of saints and martyrs began to appear in the churches, at first as memorials, then in succession revered, adored, and worshiped. The adoration of the Virgin Mary was substituted for the worship of Venus and Diana; the Lord’s supper became a sacrifice in place of a memorial; and the elder evolved from a preacher into a priest.” (p. 79).
It is important to note Hurlbut’s
statement - that “some of the old heathen (pagan) feasts became church
festivals.” They “became” that way because Elohim Himself had
predicted that evil
men and false leaders would take over most of the church! Remember this
inspired warning the Apostle Shaul -
“For I know this that after my departure, savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves. Therefore watch, and remember that for three years I did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears.” Acts 20:29–31.
When Shaul realized the depth of the apostasy that would overtake so much of the future Ekklesia, it hit him
emotionally. He then “did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears”! But sadly so few today
seem to be concerned enough about this apostasy that has taken place to even
shed a single tear in regard what has happened since the year 340 and 400, when
so many of the true believers in Messiah Yahushua were slowly being murdered by
Rome and other orthodox churches! What is so tragic is that this continued long
into the future as small numbers of faithful, known as the
“Protestors” that our Saviour called the “Little
Flock” would be murdered by order of the
Roman church as ordered by their evil Pope, his cardinals and their evil
bishops, all of whom were laden with wealth and living in the ultimate of
decadence, yet had their armies murdering simple honest men, women and children
who were in faith of YaHVaH Elohim and Messiah Yahushua. These saints in Messiah
continued to uphold the Sabbath on Friday evening and Saturday being the
Seventh Day, according to the blessed
Scriptures, and they also upheld full immersion and not just sprinkling, like

But How Could such an
Apostasy Happen?
“Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent.” Revelation 2:4–5.
We should ask, but what about today? The point
is this: If Messiah came back, let’s say for a visit, hypothetically
speaking, He would find more than 400 different christian denominations and
sects and all of these call themselves “

whatever you ask in My Name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified
in the Son. If you ask anything in My Name, I will do it.” Yochanan -

“The
Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow
deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Such teachings come through
hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron.”

Sadly, friends, we need to realise, this is also what our blessed Messiah so clearly stated that there will be a great falling away from the faith;
“Watch out
for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are
ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick
grapes from thorn-bushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise every good tree bears
good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear
bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not
bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit
you will recognize them. Not everyone who says to me, ‘Master,
Master,’ will enter the
It is a sad fact, but we are living very close to the end times and the coming of our blessed Messiah! And the 400 or so churches are ALL worshipping someone that has another name, a name that is not related to the Messiah in the Word of YaHVaH Elohim, blessed be His Sanctified Name, and as long as they keep on worshipping that name that has a very different meaning, with a pagan background, they will never be part of the true faithful in Messiah Yahushua!
Friends, I am well aware that “tradition” has set in with so many and to change now is certainly not easy, for most simply know no better, for it has been this way for centuries, and here is this study making these claims.
Well that is not quite so, the Word has been
with you since birth, but you have not been reading it prayerfully not in the
correct Name, and double checking its words in the concordance, for you would
have found that jesus is not our Saviours real Name! It is time that
individuals are touched by the Spirit of YHVH Elohim in order that we may
return to using His True Name, being YaHVaH and Yahushua, Blessed be
their Sanctified Names, just like it has been asked of us, “Ask it in
My Name.” As you have already seen earlier, even Strongs Concordance
clearly confirms the truth that Messiah’s Name is exactly the same as
that of Joshua, for both were Yahushua in Hebrew, or as Strongs writes
it as “Jehoshua”, which is slightly incorrect, but close as
it should have been a Y and an A, the reason for the “Je” is mostly
due to the false “Jehovah” name coined by the JW’s cult!
The Word of YaHVaH Elohim commands us to;
“Prove all things, and hold fast to that which is good.” 1 Thessalonians 5:21.
The vast majority of people just
“accept” that the religion is passed down through their family
history. Thus most have just “gone along” with the beliefs and the
traditions taught to them as children. Noting the public’s lack of attention

“But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god (Satan) of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Messiah, who is the image of Elohim, should shine on them.” 2 Corinthians 4:3-4).

Beloved, let me tell you, if the Messiah is our blessed Redeemer and the Scriptures states that He, the … “Word was with Elohim (God), and the Word was Elohim” - then His Life and Words should be a total example for His followers.

“For to this you were called, because Messiah also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps.” 1 Shime’on - 1 Peter 2:21.
“Seek His
Kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well. Do not be
afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the Kingdom. Sell your possessions and give to the
poor. Provide a pouch for yourselves that will not wear out, a
treasure in heaven that will not be exhausted, where no thief comes near and no
moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Is it possible to
Follow the True Faith without the Messiah?
Personally I put it in this way:
“The true faith of the “New Covenant” as we know it within “christianity” does not exist! To be frankly honest, what needs to be done is to throw a light on what seems to be a criminal offense against the Heavenly Father, YaHVaH Elohim, blessed be His Sanctified Name, a spiritual crime they operated for a prolonged time throughout the centuries and converted countless millions, whereby they, the church father’s have succeeded in making the true faith in the Messiah Yahushua the opposite of the truth, and created a new messiah called Jesus, and added a new day of worship on a pagan day that was eventually emperor Constantine made absolute law in 321 AD with the threat of death, and the pagan church added pagan feasts and customs, etc. Thus, they created a faith that is very different from what is found and taught in the “Brit Chadashah”, the “New Covenant” and as taught by our beloved Saviour Yahushua and His Apostles!
Friends, you may feel that the above are very
strong words, but they are hardly unique, for
“If by any chance Messiah Himself had been taken by His later followers as the model and pattern of the new way, and a serious attempt had been made to set up His life and teaching as the standard and norm for the Church, Christianity would have been something vastly different from what it became. When we think about it, we should not be at all surprised that man’s own desires somehow tends to have a way to change things and that includes how to Fellowship in their own way and with teachings they feel is best. For man has tried for thousands of years to find their own road and prefer their own leaders and teachings.
Humanism, materialism, socialism, communism or
capitalism, human society has invented so many philosophies in the vain hope of giving meaning to life without having a Creator, and thus creating
all things through human effort, thus they felt that there was a better and a
happy and prosperous society on the earth because they made it so. And thus it
was in the churches, be it the pagan church of
But tragically, “christians” have
been blinded by Satan and they are led by their false teachers and sadly,
studies such as this one will be mostly regarded as being evil, crazy or as
coming from another sect, but they should check the Word of the Almighty
first, for what does it say, lets say for example about your yearly
christmas tree?

Obviously this speaks the of days when non
believers in YHVH Elohim who worshipped pagan gods and were “awed”
or worshipping heavenly signs, such as the winter solstice, which just
happened to be on (this pagan calendar) December 25. For this occasion
they would travel, often far away into a suitable forest and cut down a
suitable tree, the most Sanctified being the “fir’ tree, and they
would fasten it to the floor inside the dwellings and they would “adorn
it with silver and gold.” Does this sound familiar to you?

Beloved, believe what YaHVaH Elohim and His Son Yahushua have so clearly stated, you will be a sinner if you follow the way of the world and uphold any part of these feasts, be it “Christmas” or “Easter” the latter being a feast to the goddess Estra and her moon egg, for you will NOT have a place in the “Kingdom of Elohim” unless you repent and totally remove yourself from everything that has anything to do with these evil festivals, including your children, regardless of the circumstances!
The pagan tradition continued and the church fathers of the early Roman catholic church loved paganism for it was their way they could easily convert people into their circle of evil, for men are far more inclined to worship stone gods and pagan festivals, having worshipped these things all their lives. Thus, these new feasts just had new name, that’s all!
The early Romans and the new church trimmed
their trees with trinkets and toys at that time of year, whilst the Druids tied
gilded apples to tree branches. For many, a tree decorated with orbs and
fruit-like object symbolised the tree of life.
The Modern Church :
What is happening these days in those very churches is very much related to these the “Latter Days” and also the many errors and false teachings that is being taught on TV by evil and erroneous preachers who have an evil spirit, thus be not deceived by these men and woman!
In these “latter days,” just as our beloved Saviour Yahushua so clearly warned us, there are many believers who pursue health, Prosperity, yes wealth all based on the I, me and myself as they may have been following some of the American TV evangelists that exude that great charisma, especially certain American TV Evangelists that really stand out and they tend to have a huge following. The question is why? Soon we will find out why!
These evangelists and this I do mean both male
and female tends to feed the hearers with a “gospel of prosperity”
that feeds the flesh. Nevertheless beloved, decision time must come, for
sadly many will be accountable before
In recent years, we have seen heresy preached by men and women, who claim to be “led by the Spirit.” However, can one in the Messiah be led by the blessed Spirit and yet teach lies? No certainly not!
Let me first explain the following: I was once asked, “Brother, how can anyone recognise a ministry if it is really from the Master?” I decided to give a simple answer first, which was: “If the ministry name contains the name of its senior pastor, then it is not of the Father, it is as simple as that! For the pastors name will place the emphasis to the wrong person, to a mere man and not our blessed Messiah and Saviour!”
One well-known TV preacher who was
originally accepted into the AOG (Assemblies of God) after he
‘supposedly repented’ of an hideous heresy and false teaching.
The question comes to mind, is heresy a lesser sin than that of certain
But the heretic in question was the American TV personality, Benny Hinn who was exposed in a book as a teller of countless lies in relation to his past and worse still, his heresies, including that “God is not a (just a) trinity but He is three separate trinities, nine gods in all.”
This Benny Hinn also teaches that “Jesus
would have sinned, had the Holy Spirit not been with him.” One
dramatic statement goes as follows, “
What I do not understand is this, why is this
evil and wicked man so much admired in certain “christian” circles?
I believe it is mostly to his massive very expensive well-orchestrated miracle
crusades, where he teaches that the believers are gods. Benny Hinn even
declared once - “I am Benny Jehovah,” at a spiritual warfare
seminar on May 2, 1990.
He continued, “Now I am going to tell
you that God prophetically is showing us in the Psalms, that the body of Jesus
Christ in America will sooner or later become militant and say,
‘We’ve have had it! You touch us one more time and drop dead
brother.’”
This reminded me of an Australian Pentecostal
evangelist who toured
Solid believers will recognise the mutterings of Benny Hinn and all those like him to be those of a false prophet and teacher. Beloved, beware of those deceivers, which Messiah Yahushua told us would come in the “Latter Days.” The list of Hinn's deceptions is very long, but I will conclude with his thoughts spoken on his "Praise the Lord" program on TBN TV on December 1994, which confirms his statements to the Roman Catholic lady above.
Hinn was describing a Roman Catholic communion that he had experienced. “I reached out and touched a robe, which had a silky feeling, a beautiful softness to the robe. The next thing I was feeling actually the form of a body, the shape of a body. And my body went totally numb. And God really gave me a revelation that night that when you partake of communion, it’s not just communion. We are partaking of Jesus Christ Himself.” As Benny Hinn rambles on, he stated his belief in “transubstantiation,” being the teaching of the pagan Church of Rome.
Enough of these evil christian men of the self! Remember friends, it was Yahushua Himself who so clearly stated;

Having read all the above and what our precious Saviour said, it is obviously most important to understand what Messiah will say to those failing to do the “will” of the Father: “I never knew you.” In the very same plain language deceived churchgoers will be told that they were, in fact, never acquainted with the One they were claiming to serve. They were never really converted to the real Messiah whose Name is Yahushua, not he who has a pagan name of Jesus or Je-sus, meaning a “Hail Zeus” Thus they were never really part of the “Little Flock” of the Faithful Messianic Ekklesia!
Again, Yahushua said, “But why do you
call Me ‘Master, Master,’ and not do the things which I say?”

How can we RETURN to the
Original Apostolic Faith?
“Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt I had to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints.”
Beloved, are you willing to genuinely follow the true faith of Yahushua THE Messiah? Or are you willing to “take a chance” in your relationship with the Almighty and your quest for eternal life?
Frankly, those who Messiah called the “Little Flock” in Lukas - Luke 12:32, are the “true Ekklesia of Elohim and in Messiah Yahushua” and the faithful have always understood the need to pattern themselves after the teachings and examples of Messiah and the Apostles.
Although the number of the faithful have been
larger at one time, but they have been hunted and slaughtered by the
“christian churches” and I do mean both catholic and protestant,
with the Lutheran being the worst of them over the centuries! You may ask why?
It was just because they dared to uphold ALL of the Ten Commandments,
and yes, that included the “Forth Commandment” to “Remember
the Sabbath day, to keep it Sanctified (holy)” Shemos - Exodus 20:8 & Davarim - Deuteronomy 5:1 and as confirmed by
our blessed Saviour and the Apostles for us to continue to uphold the Seventh
day Sabbath! But, it was the christians who murdered countless thousands of the
faithful from the “Little Flock” right up into the 16th.century, but today, blessed be He, we are able to
worship on His day, whist the church will continue on the day of “Sol Invictus” ( the unconquered sun), being the sun god, which SUNday is named after! The symbol of the sun
and its rays of light is found in every catholic church, around the host
holder, and note that their host is round like the sun, as are so many of their
other pagan symbols.
The Apostle Shaul was inspired to write to the Thessalonians;

However, the Apostle Shaul - Paul as we have
seen, always showed a deep respect for the leadership in

The term in Greek = “muriades” or
“myriads” literally means “tens of thousands” or

discourage these Hebrew believers in Messiah Yahushua, Shaul was clearly asked
by the Jerusalem Apostles to go through an offering ceremony to publicly
demonstrate that he was not teaching in any way against YaHVaH Elohim’s
Sanctified laws. The
“Take these men along and be purified with them and pay all the expenses connected with the shaving of their heads. This will let everyone know there is no truth in the reports they have heard about you and that you still regularly observe the Law.” Acts 21:24.
Thus if Shaul had indeed as so many claim
these days, been teaching against the Law of YaHVaH Elohim in any way whatsoever,
especially the spiritual Law containing the Ten Commandments, he most certainly
would not have gone through this ceremony based on the Law of Moshe! This
special ceremony would have been most probably a thanks offering at the
conclusion of the “Nazarite vow” that would not have been
necessary for a New Covenant believer. However, it was certainly not
“sinful” either! And Shaul had a deep respect for Elohim’s
Law, for the original Fellowship in faith that continues the pattern of
obedience according to Elohim’s Law, guided Shaul in his decision to go
ahead and participate in this ceremony. By guiding Shaul in this and the mere
fact of this being in the Word of Elohim, it shows us all that Shaul’s
approach was one of total obedience to YaHVaH’s Sanctified law and
certainly not of a person who was attempting to do away with, or “reason
around” Elohim’s laws. Yet, it is obvious that the Universal church
of Rome and later her harlot (protestant) daughters with their misguided theologians
continually teach their poor deceived flock that the law, including the Ten
Commandments, or certain parts thereof have been done away with!! But they do
so at their own peril for it is a sin unto
Therefore we MUST listen to what Messiah Yahushua had to say whilst He was with us, rather than listen to man for sadly they will always endow anything with their own ideology, and NOT strictly stick to what THE WORD actually says, but worse still is that most do not understand the original Scripture, be it in the Hebrew or the Greek, but it is not just knowing how to read it as taught in theological college, but the Hebraic and Greek mind set behind the writing and understanding of the time it was written.

However, mankind has been confusing what the Word really says for far too long and people have been led astray because of these so-called teachers own vanity, in addition these teachers, as well as their misled followers will simply not come back to the true and blessed Messiah because of their own vanity as well as tradition and history, for my family has always been this faith or that faith!
But friends, we should listen to our beloved Saviour for He gave His precious life for all who would believe and repent of their sins and they would be cleansed of their sins by the covering of the shed blood of the Lamb of YaHVaH Elohim, blessed be His Sanctified Name!
“No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws
him, and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the
Prophets: ‘They will all be taught by Elohim.’ Everyone who
listens to the Father and learns from Him comes to Me. No one has seen the Father except the one who is from
Elohim; only He has seen the Father. I
tell you the truth, He who believes has everlasting life.”
Yochanan -
Yahushua’s Work whilst He
was with us!
It is vital, beloved that we understand at that time there had been many new laws introduced by the priests and rabbis, and these are part of the rabbinic or man-made laws and Yahushua abhorred these, for they were being enforced upon the Children of Israel and Judah! Therefore He kept the Law as it was given by His Father and He expected His Judean followers to keep the law as He clearly indicated. The following Scriptures show’s us very clearly how Yahushua Himself described His mission;
“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfil. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the Kingdom of heaven.” Mattityahu - Matthew 5:17–20.
Tragically the vast majority in churches worldwide simply do not comprehend the importance of those vital words. Our beloved Messiah said that not “one jot or one tittle” (the two smallest letters in the Hebrew script) of the law would pass from the law until heaven and earth pass away. Since heaven and earth have not passed away, we must understand that the law remains and should be upheld, but in love and in faith! And Messiah condemned those who would falsely teach men to break even the “least of these commandments.” Rather, He explained that those who both do and teach the blessed commandments will be called “great in the kingdom of heaven.”
Did His “fulfilling” the law somehow change these commands? Or did they change after Messiah’s resurrection? No! Heaven and earth still had not passed away at His resurrection. And we must understand what He meant when He said that He would “fulfil” the law. Let me explain what is meant by this.
Did Yahushua fill or fulfil the Law? Let us first look at the Greek word used for “fulfil.”
The common Greek word “plerosai”
means “to fill.” The Greek Septuagint translation of the Tanach,
the Old Covenant by the rabbis from around the 4th century BC, also
uses this Greek word, but it originated from the Hebrew word “
However, these conclusions are obviously not logical, nor Scriptural, in fact they completely contradict Yahushua’s preceding statement that He did not come to abolish, or to destroy the Law. More fundamental for translation, however, is the question of whether “plerosai” in this verse should be rendered “to fulfil” at all”? I think not! My personal view Scripturally is that Yahushua came to “fill (or complete) the Law” (of His coming) and the Messianic prophecies of the Prophets with their complete meaning. For this reason the original Hebrew Brit Chadashah, the New Covenant says that Yahushua came “not to abolish but to complete.” If you carefully read the entire Sermon on the Mount, you will find that that the subject matter of that Sermon is very much related to the keeping of the Law and thus Mattityahu - Matthew 5:17 is generally understood as its central theme! You will note how this chapter covers a number of the Ten Commandments as well as other laws, and whilst our blessed Redeemer does not weaken a single law, He does however strengthen some, such as in verses 27 to 32 where speaks about, for example, the wandering eyes that can commit adultery just by looking at a woman lustfully. This is followed by the matter of divorce his wife and should one marry another, unless he was divorced because of proven unfaithfulness and adultery by his wife, but if this is not the case and if the man remarries he become an adulterer! Thus, here we can see that Yahushua makes the law even stronger and He certainly does not lessen it in any way!
“You have heard that it was said,
‘Do not commit adultery.’ But I tell you that anyone who looks at a
woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your
right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for
you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into
hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away.
It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to
go into hell. It has been said, 'Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a
certificate of divorce.' But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife,
except for marital unfaithfulness, causes her to become an adulteress, and
anyone who marries the divorced woman commits adultery.” Mattityahu -
In other words, Yahushua came, as prophesied
in (Yeshayahu - Isaiah 42:21), to “magnify” Elohim’s law and
to show its fullest intent and purpose. However, what Yahushua did seek to
abolish was another law being the man-made traditions by the ancient rabbis,
priests and Pharisees that had perverted the law and burdened the people of
Yahushua’s sacrificial death,
foreshadowed by the temple sacrifices, made all animal sacrifices and washings
irrelevant for the faithful, for He was the final Passover Lamb and the
completion, His blood conquered sin forever for all who would come to Him in
faith and repent. And Praise be to
But beloved, Yahushua’s life very clearly showed us all that the spiritual covenants, and the Ten Commandments was and would remain relevant for all those that love Him and in true faith seek to obey Him. One cannot properly understand His teachings without understanding the Tanach, the Old Covenant and the law it contains.
We need to understand that the Tanach, the Old
Covenant brings so many glorious gifts to those who love Messiah Yahushua. One
of those gifts is the Torah (Five Books of Moshe - the Law). There is no doubt
that Yahushua throughout His life lovingly embraced the Torah of Moshe, for as
we have read, “He came not to end it but to fill it”

Indeed, Yahushua Messiah taught from the Tanach and He lived by it as did His Apostles and followers then and as far as we know until at least the year 400 AD, for sadly there is no clear record of the faithful after that. However, there are known small groups that were of the same faith made up of Hebraic backgrounds and ex Gentiles for in Messiah a true believer can no longer be a gentile, for they are without hope and without Elohim, thus when saved they and those of Hebraic background become ONE IN HIM! HalleluYAH! (Read Ephesians 2:11-22).

the Day when Yahushua and the New Heaven and the New Earth, together with the

The Apostles were very clear
regarding their Teachings?
“Bear in mind that our Master’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Shaul also wrote you with the wisdom that Elohim gave him. He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are somewhat difficult to understand that ignorant and unstable people tend to distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction. Therefore, dear friends, since you already know this; thus be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of lawless men and fall from your secure position. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Master and Saviour Yahushua the Messiah.” 2 Shime’on – 2 Peter 3:15-18.
Also when writing to the young evangelist Timotheos -
“In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Messiah Yahushua
will be persecuted, while evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse,
deceiving and being deceived. But as for you, continue in what you have learned
and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, that from childhood you have known the
blessed Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith
which is in Messiah Yahushua. All Scripture is given by inspiration of Elohim
and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in
righteousness.” 2 Timotheos – 2
When Timotheos – Timothy was a child, the “blessed Scriptures” he knew was of course the Tanach, the Old Covenant for there was simply no other Scriptures as yet. The Brit Chadashah, the New Covenant books did not as yet exist! Shaul states that the Tanach the Old Covenant are “able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Messiah Yahushua.” Shaul saw no conflict between Tanach and the faith and practice in Messiah as confirmed when he was speaking of the Tanach, which is profitable for doctrine and for instruction in righteousness. These are certainly not the words of someone who was teaching that the Elohim’s Tanach laws have been done away with, for Shaul was still using those very Scriptures during His days!! In fact he instructed all those in faith;
“Imitate me, just as I also imitate Messiah.” 1 Corinthians 11:1.
The Apostle Yochanan -
“He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.” 1 Yochanan -1 John 2:6.
The point is that these two, like all the Apostles,
knew that Yahushua the Messiah came to show the perfect example and that
His faithful should follow His example, strengthened by the
Sanctified Spirit. This was the complete understanding during Shaul’s
day, as the faith in Messiah Yahushua spread across
Wherever the Apostle travelled, especially in
the East of the
Thus for at least the first forty years after Messiah’s departure, as guided by the Sanctified Spirit the “dominant element” in the fellowship of Elohim, they were still following Yahushua’s example of keeping the weekly and annual Sabbaths as commanded by Elohim. They were still following the example set by the Jerusalem Ekklesia of Elohim and the appointed Apostles by Yahushua!
Thus, Who had the Audacity to
change all that?
But a big change came about during a certain time period that is fittingly known as the “Dark Ages” and this is when it began to get underway, when misguided and false religious leaders began to change virtually everything that had made the faith of Israel and that of Israel’s Messiah now available unto the world so totally different from all the pagan cults of Babylon, Greece and the Roman Empire!
Some wrongly teach that after
“Blessed are those who do His Commandments that they may have the right to the Tree of Life, and may enter through the Gates into the City.” Revelation 22:14.
Yochanan - John heard these words from YaHVaH Elohim and he knew the importance of obeying Him; and the city is of course that City in the New Earth to come at the end of time!
“And he who overcomes and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations.” Revelation 2:26.
Clearly, those who were in faith, the “Little Flock” were keeping the blessed Law of YaHVaH Elohim and were living just as Yahushua the Messiah did long after the temple was destroyed! There are a good number of “christian” scholars who concur with this as I have found;
“The first Christians (believers) continued to observe the Jewish festivals [the biblically-taught festivals], although in a new spirit, as commemorations of events, which those festivals had foreshadowed” (Encyclopaedia Britannica, 11th ed., vol. 8, p. 828).
